Estate Sales and Auctions

Different Options to Meet Your Specific Needs

While estate sales are often associated with settling the affairs of a family member who has died, there are a wide range of reasons to see if it is a viable option. Understanding the why helps us evaluate the needs of each client and the concerns they express, which allows us to suggest what type of sale will best meet their goals.

In-Person Estate Sales
Once a decision has been made to hold an in-person estate sale, we work with you to find a suitable date. Depending on the circumstances, some sales are held for one day while others may be scheduled for multiple days. Our team handles every aspect of the process, which includes learning about the items you wish to sell, taking steps to ensure that the items you are keeping will not be offered for sale, and finding items that we identify as having significant potential value so they are priced appropriately.

Please do not remove or discard items prior to our consultation.
This ensures that we can properly evaluate all of your items.

During this process, we will review our pricing structure which is based on the items being sold. We do not charge any out of pocket costs.

Your sale will be advertised in a variety of ways, including popular websites where shoppers research upcoming sales, social media, and a mailing list of over 12,000 individuals who have requested to be informed of our upcoming sales.

Prior to hosting your sale, our team will start the pricing and tagging process. We will have all of the supplies necessary to fully set up and stage the areas where the sale will take place. Items we typically use include but are not limited to include signage, stickers, tables, clothing racks, and hangers.

Our team will manage and conduct your sale from start to finish.

Online Auctions
There are many factors that help us decide when to suggest online auctions to our clients. When appropriate, we may suggest holding both an in-person estate sale and an online auction. Online auctions help increase the visibility of your items to potential buyers who specifically search online to find items of interest. Many of our buyers prefer the online auction format because they can bid from anywhere with Internet access. Many times potential buyers have time and/or distance conflicts and are unable to attend an in-person sale and the format allows for a wide variety of items that range from antiques to people purchase for their daily use.

Our team photographs and creates engaging listings that describe the items for potential bidders and facilitate the entire pickup process. When feasible, we offer shipping services for buyers at their cost.
